Physical and chemical properties: DMC melting point 4 ℃, boiling point 90.1 ℃. At room temperature, it is colorless liquid with flammability, slightly soluble in water, but can form azeotrope with water, and can be miscible with almost all organic solvents such as alcohol, ether, ketone, etc.; its chemical property is very active and can react with alcohol, phenol, amine, hydrazine, ester, etc., so a series of important chemical products can be derived. The by-products of chemical reaction are mainly methanol and CO2. Compared with the by-products of phosgene, DMS, such as hydrochloric acid, sulfate or chloride, the harm is relatively small.

Usage:  It mainly is used to produce PC , Pesticide Chemicals and

Pharmaceutical intermediates in foreign countries.  In domestic, it is mainly

used in Coating, adhesive, medicine, pesticides, battery electrolyte, gasoline

and diesel additives fields .
